I received a letter claiming that I owe $4,975.85 to a company called Collegiate Housing services. I have not dealt with this company in 10 years and do not owe them. I have never been contacted by this company until now when I receive this threatening letter saying they are filing a civil suit against me and that I must contact them and pay them right away or they will garnish my wages or put a lein on my property. The company specificially says to make payment to Civil Complaint Services. This is a scam. This is an unknown company that got a hold of my information and is trying to use scare tactics to get me to pay them money that I dont owe. I feel very sorry for people who get duped by companies like this. They will never see a dime from me. This company should be investigated immediately! The address on the letter is 5267 Warner Ave., Suite#388 Huntington Beach, CA 92649. The phone number they have listed is 1-888-617-7263 or 1-714-784-2154. The actual address for Collegiate housing is 5175 East 65th st., Indianapolis, IN 46220.
