On August 14th, 2013, my husband purchased a 2004 Ford Expedition from Class Motors Inc. The total price of the vehicle was $13031.03. We put down $2000 cash as the downpayment. The monthly payment is $385.35.
On September 16th, we went to the Dekalb County tag office to obtain a tag. We were advised that the tag was not ready. The representative then gave us a courtesy 30 day drive-out tag to give the dealer time to finish getting their paperwork turned in and the title registered so we could obtain the tag.
On October 16th we called Dekalb County tag office and they advised again that the tag was not ready. We were advised to go back to the dealership to find out what the problem was. We went straight to the dealership. My husband spoke with the manager, Hesham Almuswey who went in and printed out another drive-out tag. I told him that we should not be getting another drive out tag and that if we were not able to get a tag when that one expired we were not going to make another payment. Mr. Almuswey assured us that we would be able to pick up the tag this time.
On November 16, we again called Dekalb County, GA office and they advised yet again the tag was not ready. They also advised that no paperwork had been submitted for the tag. After going back to the dealership again, we received another fraudulent drive-out tag that was to expire December 16th.
On December 16, DeKalb County tag office advised tag not ready again. I called Hesham Almuswey and questioned why we could not get a tag. He became argumentative, billigerent and verbally abusive. He told me he would only speak with my husband who immediately called him. He told my husband he would take the paperwork to Dekalb County and get it processed and have a tag for him. We still have not been able to obtain a tag.
Of course now, every time we speak with these people they say the car payment is behind and threaten to repossess the vehicle. Yes, the payment is behind because I told you in November I was not making another payment until we can get a tag. These people are shysters... all they want is your downpayment and they will say and do anything to get it.
