Classic Closeouts Refuses to send refund; Total Scam!!! Hempstead New York
I returned items to CC. Delivery confirmation states items were delivered to CC 09/18/2008. On 10/01/2008, after I emailed them inquiring about my refund, "Yuris" wrote back stating I needed to wait a few business days, but the return had already been processed. No problem...until almost 2 weeks later and I still had not recieved my money back. I sent numerous unanswered emails.
After some research, I found their toll free number and was directed to voicemail. No one returned my call after two voicemails, but eventually on 11/04/2008, someone actually picked up the phone when I called. His name was Sam. He claimed he would give my name and number to the returns dept. and they would get back to me.
After 2 days with no return call, I called back on 11/06/2008 and this time (same guy) said he would give it to his supervisor and look over and call me back. Again, no one called. So I called back on 11/10/2008 and again spoke with Sam who at this point seemed agitated I called back. Imagine that! He works for a scam artist, and he had the nerve to get loud with me saying "We already been thru this...obviously he (supervisor) didn't call you back." After talking to him for around a half hour, he said HE would put the refund thru and to expect it in 10 days. Not that I'm falling for that, considering if that were the case, he would have done that during my forst converssation with him, and saved us both time and hassel.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Not only do they refuse to give entitled refunds, the items I recieved were basically disgusting. A sweater had no tag, along with a spot on the chest which I came to beleive was breast milk-so clearly they sent me something someone already wore.

You are exactly right in your assessment of this company. They are nothing but crooks. The same thing that happened to you, happened to me about 3 years ago. You had better watch out for credit card fraud later on. You can read about many other people being ripped off by these scum bags on this site.
