Classic Mortgage Joe McAllister misrepresentation ripoff fraud extortion scam Maywood New Jersey
A mortgage broker named Joe McAllister took money for an appraisal that was never performed and in general relayed false and misleading information about the loan he was brokering to us. In order to be able to close on our house, we ended up paying twice for an appraisal -- once to Mr. McAllister, and again to the lender. We also ended up with a loan that was not what he had promised it would be. After the deal was closed, Mr. McAllister had the nerve to try to extort more money from us, falsely claiming that we owed it to him.
I don't believe that Mr. McAllister is employed by Classic Mortgage any more, but the fact is that Classic Mortgage did nothing to intervene or resolve this situation, nor to restore our appraisal fee. Yet they reaped handsome fees from us. I would recommend AVOIDING doing business with Classic Mortgage. And if Joe McAllister is still out there anywhere, DEFINITELY avoid him -- he is a con man!!!!

First and foremost monies are never paid directly to a loan officer and never have in my 16 years in being a licensed mortgage banker. I believe the name listed here is false and not a true client of mine. Additionally it is noteworthy that she closed her loan and than claims that a call was made from me for more money. All LIES!
I treat people the way I want to be treated and have never ever sought an additional dime outside of the disclosed fees at time of loan origination.
The other claim of reaping fees this person sounds like a victim of her life. Everyone has a chocie whether or not to close their loan and are not bound. You can easily say I did not understand the terms and am going elsewhere.
The lies are from teh accuser not the accused!!
Since the housing crisis the mortgage industry has lost over 43% of mortgage employees and yet I am still employed because of loyalty and referrals from clients.
