Clovis Marine Inc, Fresno, California Poor quality work by Clovis Marine in Fresno, Calif fresno, California
Customer from Fresno brought in a boat directly from the wharf. This boat had just been previously been worked on extensively by Clovis Marine in Fresno, California.
Customer handed us the invoice from Clovis Marine. Two other fishermen accompanied this customer to bring the boat to our shop. The invoice in itself hangs Clovis Marine from a meat hook.
The boat was a mess. The previous work just performed by Clovis Marine was obviously not tested. We found 4 very serious problems. One which could of sunk the boat in the harbor if not out on the bay.
The two fishermen who helped bring this customer into our shop also had prior experience with Clovis Marine in Fresno. And it was negative also.
We dismantled the work previously performed. We documented the poor repairs since the customer who lives in Fresno but also has a home in Monterey, indicated that he would file a small claims suit against Clovis Marine.
In our opinion and expertise this boat posed a serious enough bad repair that loss of life or harm could of uncured upon the owner. We have repaired the boat and given the owner an affidavit based upon our expert opinion. The repairs were sloppy. The boat was repaired properly by our shop.
In the past we have had numerous other water craft previosly repaired by Clovis Marine which we had to correct.
Boating is serious business, Clovis Marine has serious issues with their repairs. Their quality and their after service conduct towards ex customers.
