As a former 3-store manager for Club Tan (including the Tanasbourne location in 1997), I can tell you that it is not the store employees that are constantly charging your account. It's the corporate office and the owner, Ron Zemp. Once you sign up for an auto debit membership, your info goes to the corporate office. Once you cancel, your cancelation request also goes to the corporate office. The employees at the individual locations have absolutely nothing to do with it. Of course when I worked there, I think I was the only store manager who wasn't constantly high on something. Hopefully that has changed now. Either way, I never knew one trustworthy employee there - especially the owner and his corporate drones. I take that back - there was one fantastic District Manager in 1997. She walked out once she finally became fed up with Ron Zemp's crap. Either way - it's an absolutely horrible company. If you have to go there, only pay in cash!!! Do not give them any access to your checking account.
