This site claims to be in Australia, but is actually run by a company in China.
I tried to purchase: "RA8FLD Australia Women Sandals Timberland EK PLEASANT BAY SANDAL DARK BROWN - 222132." In size US 7 (or size 38). I paid $122, including shipping.
After waiting 2 weeks, I received "Gucciheaven Model 8393-240 (1.5)" in size 38. These bore no relation to the shoes I had ordered, and were obviously cheaply made.
After contacting the company via e-mail, I searched around on the internet and found a similar rip-off report. Thankfully, my bank was able to reverse the charges and refund my money.
After 2 days, I received this response from the company:
"I have confirmed that the warehouse made the mistake. We feel very sorry about it. But the goods you have received is our best selling this year.I have delivered your mail and complaint to our manager,and have negotiated with our manager,how about keeping the goods in your hand,then he told me.After my great efforts to help you, the most refund we could do for you is 15% as compensation.And for your next new order,we will also offer you some best discount. Have a good day!"
Clearly, they never had any intention of sending me the shoes I asked for, nor would they have been genuine Timberland shoes if they had!
