Identity theft is a huge problem in the United States..A Word to the Wise..Watch the Financial Aid office and any online classes you may take. You look around and someone has stolen your student ID number and all of your college credits for their own use elsewhere.
Theft of information from the offices of the Financial Aid/Busar and StudentRegistration leads to more theft of information, especially those who are on The esteemed Dean's List and members or former member of Phi Theta Kappa Chapters from elsewhere in the United States, wonder why? If you recieve a bill for a loan, don't pay them. Obtain all the information you can from them and advise them you are a victim of Identity Theft and go promptly to your local police for a report on the theft.
Contact The US Department of Education, Federal Trade Commission and of course the IRS, so that you can recieve a reward for the capture of the Identity theft ring involved. The form is 3949A and can be dowloaded from their website. Trying to find a person using all of your information is like finding a needle in a haystack.
