This reply sounds good, but I know the truth about Coast Dental of Lake City. I went to Gainesville Coast Dental Office for three years for cleaning and maintenance and had no problem with them and they found no serious problems with my teeth. I go to Coast Dental of Lake City and they say I need three filling, a deep cleaning and several other procedures that my insurance doesn't cover. I have no pain and I brush and floss twice a day. I go back to Gainesville and they don’t find any of those problems. Same company, different dentist. Explain that one. Lake City wants my $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ they don’t care about my oral health.

Had them cleaned every six months before I moved here and ran into this bunch of scam artists. Never had a problem, already contacted my previous dentist and he said he would clean them again, no problem. Said he had people in his office that worked for Coast Dental. I spoke to the lady in his office that used to work for Coast and she explained how they operated and how the goal is to get as much money out of you as they can. No matter what.

The numbers they are counting are the recession in your gum lines - has to do with gum disease. I have it done everytime I get a cleaning. The larger the number, the more likely you are suffering from gum disease. I have had it and with 4 cleanings a year and preventive care my numbers are 1/2 of what they used to be.
I agree with Coast - when was the last time you had a cleaning??
