Coast To Coast Automotive Inspections Charged twice for the service i never recieved Granite Bay California
I had requested an inspection for a vehicle (2006 Mazda 6) that i was considering to purchase. The request was made on tuesday Oct 30 2007 and was promised by c2c auto inspection that the inspection will be done on wednesday Oct 31 2007. Based on this promise I gave them my credit card information (Mastercard) for charging me $189.00 for the inspection. I gave them the seller's name, contact information and address (College Park, MD) where the car was parked as well.
On monday their affiliate on the east coast (Roger) called the seller and told him that he will be at the location in 30 mins. The seller was at his workplace and requested Roger to give him about an hour to get home. Roger said he wont be available then and will call again the next day for setting up another appointment.
I sent an email to Coast to Coast on thursday morning asking what the next step should be but didnt hear back from them.
Later on, on thursday I saw my credit card statement online and found out that I have been charged twice by Coast to Coast auto inspection company (both charges on Oct 30 2007) for a service that I havent recieved at all.
I have sent them about 4 emails so far but havent heard from them. The calls always go to the voicemail and inspite of leaving messages I havent heard back from them.
I believe that people doing this kind of business should not be allowed to dupe any more customers.
