SCAM NOTICE - Ted Holmes, from www.colonialhardwoodflooring.net from Hampton, Virginia with address also listed in Williamsburg and advertisies in Norfolk is a thief and a scam artist. I had been searching for unique reclaimed hardwood floors and came across an ad and requested information in June 2015. I had been remodeling our dream home for over a year and had been speaking with Ted Holmes regarding my hardwood floors and after 6 months decided to place my order. He seemed nice, always followed up, emailed back and had sent several samples. My hardwood installer offered to source the wood but I am very loyal becuase I also own a small family business and wanted to give Ted the business. I paid half of $16,000 for my hardwood flooring, ceiling woods and mantels in Dec. 2015 and paid the balance Feb. 2nd. I have been trying to arrange delivery for the last 4 weeks refuses to call me back, email back and hung on me after I called from another number. I have reached out over 20 times and after a month of excuses there is not end in sight. All I wanted was my wood for my dream home. The whole house had been designed around his wood. I should be moving into my dreamhome but now all I am doing is trying to find the money to pay for more wood. Ted is a crook and a liar! Please don't get scammed by this guy.
