Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We moved into the Woodlands TX (Alden Bridge) in early 2008. We started with the Cable TV and High Speed internet Comcastand had Vonage as telephone. We noticed having sticking TV channels channels and the reception was not so good...like we had a poor signal. We contacted Comcast and they sent a refresh signal for the TV DVR. The refresh signal helped a bit then within an hour it started all over again. We called comcast and they sent techs out that looked like they just came out of grammer school....they found that we had to many splitters in the house and would need to rewire. I also thought it may just be the speed was not that fast so I upgraded to the BLAST. A couple of months went by having the same problem. Soon my wife noticed that our internet was soooooo slow againand I thought possible my wireless router was going out so I purchased a new $200.00 Cisco router and thought that would help. It did, but withinhours I noticed that the speed started to have problems again. I called Comcast and told them about it and they sent out another Tech and he replaced the outside wire.Still the sameproblem. Sticky TV Channels and Very slow internet. Sent out another refresh signal!I soon changed the router again thinking I had a Lemon. Well, another $200.00 NetGear router that was rated top picks still did not work right. I called Comcast and they said thatthety wouldcredit the times the repair techs came out.....oh sure that was not good enough butOk whatever!

Icalled Comcast AGAIN!!!!complaining about the service over and over again! They told me it may be Vonage giving the problem. I excepted the Phone (long distance to Europe), Internet,Cable TV Bundle and thought that would help. NOT!!!! I called Comcast from the newcomcast phone and the person on the other line noticed static on the phone. I said, yes.....this is what Ive been dealing with and even canceled Vonage because Comcast told me it must be them.Months later with THE SAME HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I opened my Bill and found an outrageous long distance bill and so when I called they gave me a $205.00 refund because Comcast found the over charges.

My internet is HORRIBLE even with Blast! My TV's STICK when channel surfing! My telephone makes noises even two years later!!! Comcast has sent out at least 100 refresh signals, cannot even remember how many service call (lost count) always ending with yes you have a bad signal strength but we have to go out to another house now. Leaving me out in the Fog! I called the Geek squad and asked them what is up with my internet!!!! Could I have another lemon router???? They said NO! If i have to unplug the power on the router and then it works better then the router is getting bad signal which causes the router to give out an extremelyslower signal causing the internet to be slow. I called Comcast about this and they agreed! Still they sent out a tech and hecalled in a rewire just for my computer room and added another splitter (likeI dont have enough of these in the house) and even charged me for it. Finally I've had it!!!! I called comcast and demanded at least two-three months credit...they agreed! Three months later still NO CREDIT!!! So I called again and they said it was in the system and will be done shortly and not to pay my bill because I have over $400.00 credit. Three weeks later I get a bill that states a disconnect is going to be done unless payment is made immediately. I called them yesterday and they again agreed due to the horrible service that I will be getting the over $ 400.00 credit and I called today and still no credit!!!!! I want to sue these #$$#$&#&#!!!! They are in breach of contract and have still not given me the services they have been charging me for and still no credit!!!!

If this is accurate I would suggest you file a report with the FCC, FTC, Attorney General, and BBB. I've had my own problems with Comcast, like this, including billing issues that had to be resolved through the Attorney General's office. The only way you'll ever get this problem corrected with these people is to file reports with these agencies online; you'll be surprised how they turn around.
