Comcast is the worst company for internet,cable and digital phone.



They will bait and switch you promotional rate than added hidden fees.  They will tell you a promotional rate $59.99 and turn around and charge you $74.00 for standard rate cable.  Later, you find out they raise the surcharges and taxes by $10.00 on your next bill.  They use false advertisement all the time!  The reps will say anything just so they can make their quota for the day.  Their is scam going on with Comcast ordering services without your authorization!  They have employee hack into your account and offer free services to friends and family using your personal id and password.  By the way, this only happens when you live in apartment complex!     This is illegal and this is done intenionally knowing that their a@@ will be covered by FCC.  They are monopoly so their is no competition in the market for cable.  They can jack their prices and treat you poorly in whatever they want!  Their customer service is horrible!  If you tried to call them they will direct you to 5 or 6 different people that are new and just started that day.  Their customer service department is not well train  in dealing with billing disputes!  There is alot of lack of communications in all department at Comcast.  



They are real good at false advertisement and scams!  The contantly take advantage of the elderly and the poor.  They know very well that some of us are on a budget and can not afford $100 cable and phone bill!  This prices are ridiculous high for cable and internet!  You should be able to get cable for $54.00 for all the channels and internet for $20.00 a month.  Once your promotion ends you have fewer channels to view and limited on what movies you can watch for free.  They charge for old realease on pay per view at $2.99 and $4.99 for the new relaeases.  The movies that they offer for free are crappy movies that nobody wants to watch.  



I feel that several of us should sue Comcast in civil court manner.  This has gone to far and needs to be stop!

Comcast is the worst service provider, in my opinion, for cable companies out there. They are rated worse than the IRS in customer service, have deceptive billing practices (which are currently being investigated in the state of Kansas by the Attorney General), along with numerous other problems; I've had to report them four times in the last year alone. They have recently changed their name to Infinity in hopes that it will deflect their previous poor image (as written in Time magazine for 2010's 10 top worst name changes); a local office even pissed off an elderly lady so bad a few years ago that she tore up their office with a hammer.

If you have a Comcast complaint, especially a really valid one, please take the time to complain to the FCC, the BBB, your state Attorney General's office, and write a Rip Off report complaint; you might even think about writing up a complaint and blasting it to EVERYONE on your e-mail list like I did and request that they forward it to others as well; I'm sick and tired of this company, literally. I'm guessing the post on your page, or the person standing up for Comcast/Infinity, is nothing more than an executive with the company attempting to do damage control; I had a similar post on my write up. If that is the case, it is simply unethical to post replies like you are a "customer". My advise? Maybe Comcast wouldn't need to do damage control on Rip Off report if they provided their customers with decent service. How pathetic.

I have to agree with the poster on this. Comcast does not give the best service on cable and is not competitively priced. I have had comcast for several years now and am considering switching to Direct TV. When I first signed on with Comcast my bill was 88.00 am month for Cable and Internet. It has now gone up to 156.00 a month for the same services with less channels. In Sept I returned home after 3 months on the road, happily sat down on my snuggly couch, propped up my feet and turned to my favorite channel (Oxegen) and guess what? It came up a subscribed channel now! Hello, it is the only channel, other then Fox News that I watch and they decided to make it a pay channel! Needless to say I am NOT happy! It has never been a pay channel before!

I enjoy My Comcast. 500,000 other customers in the twin cities agree. It's an luxury but competitively priced with Dish and Qwest. I pay as I go, they have help available 24/7 free. They will send a tech out for only $27 dollars if your too cheep to pay for the insurance. I don't know what your complaining about? Fastest internet, phone to compete with qwest. I pay with tax 152.00 per month for all three services, it's rare to have it go out. I use them every day. I spend more going out to eat in a week. 


And when the service is out I usually have next day help. Oh and I READ if the TV goes out for a day or two God forbid. 

Remember you don't have to pat for cable! you can get your local stations for free. 

Lets break down the 75 per month $2.50 per day to watch your favorite shows, usually when you want on demand. Quit complaining!

Taxes and surcharges is uncle sam, like when you buy stuff you pay tax. You know that happens every time you buy something. With all those customers there is only three complaints here, I think that speaks volumes about how good the service really is. 

I bet you were silly enough to think the promo went on forever?
