I called 1-800-COMCAST in April 09 and asked about the triple package service. A sales representative PROMISED me a $300 gift card "for Gas or Groceries" - so he said.

Two months later, I called the customers service and asked why didn't I get the gift card and then it goes like this:

Kristie: "You connected thru a third party vendor so I can't find what did they promised you"

Me: "But this 3rd party vender acted in behalf of your name, with YOUR permission, you can't ignore this"

Kristie: "Do you remember his name?"

Me: "Sure... after we finished talking we became best friends and we meet every day ever since... c'mon get real, you know this is not a fair question.. "

Kristie: "We don't have this gift card, it is one of the 3rd party venders"

Me: "You know that if you'll go to court this excuse won't hold because this is YOUR 3rd party that acted in behalf of YOUR name"

Kristie: "This conversation is over! you said that you will go to court! you should speak with our legal department!!"

Me: "I didn't say that. I said hypothetically..."

Kristie: "You never used this word"

Me: "Can I speak with your supervisor?"

17 (!) minutes on hold.

Chris: "Hi, What can I do for you ?"

Me: "I guess you know all the details by now"

Chris: "Yes and you called to 1-800-COMCAST and we do not offer any P.R. like gift cards"

Me: "But Kristie told me I called 3rd party vender"

Chris: "I know, but you called us and I can't do anything about it"

Me: "Your guy LIED to me over the phone, base on that lie I am paying to you altho Dish network had a great deal at the time, $14.99 per month for six months."

Chris: "I can't see any record that this is what he promised to you"

Me: "But He did, and you should keep this promise"

Chris: "I am sorry, but ...."

at this point I gave up and right now I'm looking for other ripped-off customers that been manipulated and lied by comcast, also I'm looking for a good lawyer. This is not the way of doing business in any country, especially not in America.

Please help me beat the monster.
