This is a very serious report. On August 16th, 2004, I called Comcast to pay my bills, like I do every month. All I need to hear from them is, "what can i help you with? what is your credit card #, and here is your approval code." So i call this guy.....off the 1-800 number....and this joker didn't have a clue what he was doing. I had to give him my credit card number 3 friggen times. I told him to credit my account $240.00, which was slightly above and overpaying what my balance due was. At what he thought was the end of the conversation, he said "ok, i'll get this in for you".

After 2 years of having their service, i kinda got to know better..... i asked him for an approval code. He didn't know what the hell i was talking about. I told him i wanted to make sure that the transaction went thru. He then asked me AGAIN for my credit card number. After the "transaction", he gave me some oddball number to reference. Flashforward to August 20th, 2004.

On my bank account, which i check each morning, I see that Comcast has charged me, NOT ONCE, like i aksed for $240.00, not TWICE, but 3 FREAKING TIMES for $240.00. Needless to say, i was very upset. I called them to complain, called my bank to explain, and that is not the worst of all... I am someone who calculates my accounts down to the nearest dollar. When Comcast screwed me over like this....it sent my account into the negative. $$$$$$$$$480.00 into the negative. All my other transactions that should have went through with no problem were now in the negative on my bank account. If you are reading this, you probably know that banks don't like that, and I incrued fees.....$30.00 a pop.

Now i am out $127.00 for the "overdraft fees" (at 30.00 a pop X 4)and the $ 1.75 Excessive over draft fees (at $1.75 a pop )I have talked to 8 differnt people @ Comcast.... trying to get this revolved from Comcast..... and it is filled with empty promises of "Supervisors calling me back within 24-72 hours".......it has now been over 96 hours....and nothing. NOW, THEY DID CREDIT ME BACK THE $480.00 THAT THEY OVER CHARGED ME. But it was a day late and $127.00 dollars short. Do they care???? NO! When they want their money.....they will send out bills, and call your house relentlessly......when they OWE YOU MONEY.....they pawn you off....WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!!If anyone wants proof, I have it!!
