comcast xfinity SLAMMED INTO CHANGING MY SERVICE CONTRACT JUPITER FL Florida
I have been with comcast for 18 years. They have a monoply on my neighborhood.. My contract was up and I have been paying month to month. I called in Januarary 2018 and asked about increasing the amount of channels on my plan. I was not happy with the offer however he stated that he would lock me into the monthy price of $180. for the rest of the year. STUPID ME NEVER ASKED FOR THIS IN WRITING. August 2018 I get a letter in the mail from comcast stating that I reciently changed my service and HBO will now be an additional $15. per month. After one hour on the phone with customer service Comcast was unable to verifi any changes made by me EVER. They Had my last payment amount wrong in the system and the girl stated that there was no better plan available other than a spanash package created for the victims of the HURRICAN that hit Porta Rico. I do not speak or understand spanish. I live 75 miles from MIAMI. Comcast decided that this is the only package for me and I have to sign a 2 year agreement. I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO CALL THIS, ITS NOT BAIT AND SWITHCH, ITS NOT FALSE ADVERTISING. IT IS FLAT OUT LIES. SENDING ME A LETTER STATING THAT I CHANGED MY SERVICE AND WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR HBO, THAT I ALREADY HAD IN MY PACKAGE IS TOTAL LIEING B*******. SLAMMING ME INTO A SPANISH PACKAGE WITH A TWO YEAR AGGREMENT IS TOTALLY f**kED UP. THERE ARE NO OTHER WORDS!!
COMCAST STATES OVER 100MBPS I HAD A TECH OUT AT MY HOUSE AND ONE OF MY HARD WIRED COMPUTORS WITH NO OTHER USERS ON GETS 90MBPS.
I PRAY FOR THE DAY SOMEONE STARTS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST COMCAST FOR THEIR DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES.
