COMCAST Xfinity Worse than DISH! Nationwide
I recently moved from DISH Network back to Comcast due to DISH's rising prices and unreliable service. Big mistake! Previously, Comcast had high prices but provided mostly reliable service. This is no longer the case.
Since reinstalling Comcast, I have had numerous problems with service. The techs who installed did not do as I requested by installing new wiring. The individual I spoke with to set up installation promised they would do this since the wiring in my home is old and can no longer handle the type of signal (bandwidth?) of combined phone, cable TV, and internet. Recently, I was told Comcast does not perform this service - you must hire your own electrician to do this. That doesn't help the fact that I was promised this would be done by Comcast when they installed my service. Basically, I believe you can no longer call them installers since all they do is hook up some wires that are pre-existing.
Calling for tech support or customer service does no good because no one EVER answers the phones. If you hold to speak with someone, you may get an answer hours later. Or, your call may be dropped after waiting for hours. Either scenario is just as likely, What is highly unlikely is that you will get to speak to someone who will actually help you with the issue.
If you file a complaint with BBB, Comcast will hound you at home, at work, everywhere - until they finally get you on the phone. At that time, they will give you any and all excuses until you are so frustrated that you can't speak any longer. Then they will inform BBB that YOU are uncooperative.
STAY AWAY FROM COMCAST if you value your money and your time. My title says it all . . . worse than DISH!!! And that's really bad.
