Order the new $99 month Comcast Xfinity plan.Receive my boxes on Friday it's now Monday still have no service. The customer service department is horrible. I called twice on Friday to set up my service nothing, I called five times on Saturday and a customer service representative hung up the phone on me. I also called about three or four times on Sunday. A Comcast technician came to my house on Saturday and could not fix the problem. I was guaranteed a technician to stop by today... never showed up! I rather pay $300 to $400 a month for service than to deal with the *** that Comcast has to offer. Comcast does not care about their customers nor do they care about anything else except for making money.I've had Chromecast for four days and I'm done with them I'm canceling their horrible! I am a barber I work at a barbershop with five other barbers 350 clients. Every single person told me that Comcast is the worst.

Ken

Colorado,
Nope, don't work for or like Comcast or any of the 50+ other companies I've been accused of working for...

I actually have Dish and am just a bit more patient than you.  I've been a Dish customer since their inception with no problems of any consequence.  I surveyed 356 neighbors and most thought Dish was okay.

Alabama,
You must work for Comcast.

I've had DirecTV for the last 10 years with no problems whatsoever. I do understand that every company has an issue. And yes I'm not going to deny that even my customers had complaints about DirecTV when I said that I like them. But the difference here is no one complains about DirecTV's customer care or technical support or their technicians. People complain about DirecTV because of the service, sometimes when it's raining or snowing heavily they may lose there service or may be a little messed up. And that's one of the reasons why I tried to switch from DirecTV to Comcast. But the importance of a solid customer care department and technical support as well as a technician that comes to your house is very, very important. And since I've been with DirecTV for 10 years or maybe a little bit more and I've had no and I repeat no issues with their customer support or technical support or the technicians that come to my house. I will be going back to them. Plus in my experience people that say things like you're saying right now obviously work for the company. Honestly the only thing that people had to say good about Comcast is there ondemand...that's all they have going for them. As a customer that's paying a bill monthly, costing me thousands of dollars, I'm going to go with the company that treats me fairly... And that I've never had a problem with. If you ask me that's a pretty d**n good track record. I dear you to ask 20 people about Comcast and see the response you will get. So please stop posting to this because obviously you have some type of interest in the company, or you work for them. If I had asked my customers about Comcast before I signed up for them...it would be a cold day in hell before I signed up for Comcast. I respect my clients and I hold dear opinions highly. That is way more than I can say about a company like Comcast. So I can tell you exactly how DirecTV will be. I have never had a problem with them in over 10 years, and you know what...I feel like I will never have a problem with them. And I will do everything in my power to try to convince every single customer that comes into my barbershop to switch away from Comcast. That number 350 was just over the weekend. I really don't care what company they go to, DirecTV or Verizon...as long as I can convince them to leave Comcast.

Ken

Colorado,
First YOU are the one saying all your customers and other barbers agreed with you.

,"I am a barber I work at a barbershop with five other barbers 350 clients. Every single person told me that Comcast is the worst."

I also found 1157 reports here complaining about DirectTv and I personally agree with most of them.

Good luck switching to them. What could possibly go wrong?  Let us know how it works out for you.

Alabama,
You've never been to a barbershop I take it...

I talked to my customers. A barbershop is a very social place. When you have up to 50 to 100 people coming in, in one day and everyone is talking about the exact same subject, it was ridiculous how many people was saying that Comcast is horrible. I spent 20 to 30 minutes on a haircut all the barbers do too. When one person starts talking about a subject that affects everyone else the entire barbershop is talking it. All I had to say was "I ordered Comcast and I'm not happy" and the floodgates opened right up. And when one customer walks in while we are discussing it, it continues all day with another customer coming in and saying what they feel about Comcast. It's not hard to get people to complain about Comcast because they are so bad. I had DirecTV and the only reason why switch was because of the $99 a month plan that Comcast has. DirecTV never charge me for a technician to come to my home to fix a problem that was not my issue. Comcast wants to charge you to install your brand-new plan and equipment. $250?!? And if you have an issue that's with Comcast and not you or your property or the lines within your house they still want to charge you to get a technician out there. $250!?! I'm going back to DirecTV I don't care how much they charge! The customer service department is excellent. You ask to speak to a supervisor and they put them right on the phone no questions asked. And if they cannot resolve your problem that day is no need to call them back they will call you when the problem is resolved. Follow this link it's a couple Comcast customer service representative that posted this.

Ken

Colorado,
While I don't much care for Comcast, I find it amazing that 100% agreed to this...

" I am a barber I work at a barbershop with five other barbers 350 clients. Every single person told me that Comcast is the worst."

Counting yourself, that's three hundred and sixty people.  When do you have time to cut hair, between customer interviews?
