The Commence CRM system is flawed and does not work well. We had multiple problems and the customer support is awful. We struggled with their outdated, archaic online content management system for months. Finally, tried to cancel out of frustration.  We could not retrieve our data and COULD NOT cancel - we were told because the new "annual" contract has already "kicked in".

We requested to not let this happen again next year.

Next year came AGAIN we were told "We missed the DEADLIINE" to cancel.  This time I called the credit card company and stopped payment.

Now, we are being harassed and sent to collection agency over our annual fee (less than $400).

Nasty company. Stay away and look elswhere for CRM systems.

Commence Corporation feels compelled to respond to the erroneous claims presented by this individual. First, we have no record of a Dr. John as a user of our product. It appears that this individual may have used a false name to file this report. This is disappointing because we would have liked to contact this person to better understand his dis-satisfaction with our product.

Commence Corporation has been providing business software solutions to small and mid-size businesses for more than two decades and is highly regarded for the quality of its products and services.  Dr John's claim that the product is flawed and does not work is just silly and without merrit.  The product is being successfully used by several thousand small to mid-size companies around the world.   Once again we would have liked the opportunity to better understand his concerns so that we could have addressed them, but were not provided with this opportunity. 

Dr John, also claims tjhat Commence support staff is awful and that he was not able to retrieve his data from the system.  The Commence support staff avergaes 12 years of employement with our firm, is highly trained and has received numerous endorsements from clients regarding their commitment to ensuring that customers realize the maximum value from our solutions.  These endorsements are available on the company's web site for review. 

With regard to data retrieval, Commence customers can export their data at any time into an Excel or CSV format.  This requires no interaction from Commence personnel so we are a bit perplexed by this incorrect statement.

He also claims that Commences collection service contacted him regarding payment of $400 dollars.   Commence does have an accounts receivable department that contacts customers if payment is late just like any other corporation and they may have contacted Dr John, but this is not a collection service.  We do expect to receive payment for services and like other comapnies in this industry  we do have an automatic renewal clause in our agreements. His claims that he cancelled his agreement two years in a row, but was still billed is again erroneous.

We are truly sorry that this customer did not enjoy the same positive experience that our other customers have had and we would have preferred that he engage in dialogue with our support staff so that we could try and address his concerns. He choose a different approach which is fine, but making false claims about our company and products cannot go without a response.
