Complete Investigation Service (CIS) Fradulent Activities Internet
I visited this website (http://www.state-divorce-records.com/report/texasdivorcerecords) to obtain a background check for someone. Was told there were two results for information matching my search with details of the individual. After purchase, was prompted to this website (http://www.cisnationwide.com) to pick up my report. Once on the new site, I searched for my report and there was none. I noticed that they had credited me $20 ( the cost that I was believed was supposed to reflect the cost of the two results found) to do additional searches which were per search. Needless to say, I searched my $20 worth on the individual and everything came up with NO information. Bottom line, this service is fraudlent. They knew that they didn't have any information for my search; however, they LEAD me into beleiving that they did and they had intentions of continually 'milking the cow' to continue to gain money off me for useless and ommissed data. I know I will never get my money back, but I am satified knowing that I have reached out to other consumers to warn them of the fraud activities that this company is doing to vulnerable people who are just looking for information to help them make a reasonable decision about someone's background. Shame on you, CIS...
