Computer Books Direct Makes up Charges, Overcharged, Refused Refund, Internet
I am being billed for $122.00 after joining a book club. I joined and received my free books. I have sent in 2 orders for books and have never received them. Now 2 years later I am being sent a bill for $122.00 for not ordering books and they are REFUSING TO LET ME ORDER.
They say I will get a voucher for 4 books but the amount they are demanding is WAY over the amount it would cost if I were allowed to order them. They are claiming this amount is calculated from their average price. I have seen their catalauge and this is WAY over the averge price they sell for. Plus, after contacting them they have refused to refund the difference for the amount billed after I order.
I read their member agreement when I orderd, and I have a copy of it now. Neither of them mention these terms and I am being threatend with collections even after several attempts to try and order.
