Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Have rented here for quite some time due to 2 illnesses that put me on temp. disability twice. When in the hospital, air conditioning unit leaked water thru ceiling in closet. ConAm did not fix, had mold growing in closet on and off for almost 7 yrs. Sounds crazy but I did not have money to move as I was ill and called every agency in California, even local lawyers, even the building inspector in Coalinga who said they did not handle that type of thing. Finally was crying down at the social services bldg asking for some one to help me as I could not get the proper HUD housing number thru the white pages or internet in the year 2000. Was laid up for a year, two surgeries all the while the manager at that time did not lower my rent and tried to tell me I was responsible for the sidewalk, roof, and patio repairs who I then told her she lost her mind. She was eventually fired as there were so many complaints as she told several people myself included that we owed HUD 1500 dollars(make check or money order out to Westwood 1,Coalinga,CA).

Several years after that, I became ill again, valley fever, for all I know it was the mold from before. That got fixed because I ripped the carpet out myself and took a hammer and knocked out the drywall in the spotted mold closet and dragged it to the office and told them to fix the s... A better bb report was filed. Finally got a new air conditioning unit. Now if that doesn't sound nightmarish and crazy enough,The manager of Westwood 2 and one of her parking police tenants, who is managed by Coalinga Property management called the police on me for parking in a non marked parking space and she took me to court and I won. She was related to the last manager at Westwood 1. Now the last manager got fired, rumors of misappropriating funds again have begun about the fired manager.

So, now the new manager (pretty sure she is related too) is charging me almost half my income (I'm HUD approved), they are having a state inspection Dec 4,2014, and she is posting inspections every other week and not showing up. I have a letter stating she is going to come in ramdomly and often. I handed her a California tenant law paper stating I want a 24 hr written notice. If you stand up for yourself with these people they come down harder on you for everything. When one inspection was done 3 months ago, I have been reporting a problem before that, my toliet is leaking around the base (needs a new seal)and the bathroom faucet is leaking and dripping water enough to where it fills up the sink in 1 hr.,in this drought infested valley. Was told by the regional office today that maintenance would be here today to fix it ,

It is now 8pm and I had to call the maintenance emergency number as there is water all over my bathroom floor when I came back home after leaving for an hour. Was told by maintenance it will be done in the morning, fine, I shut off the water. Maintenance has to go by managers request for work orders. The current manager has stated on paper that minor repairs would be done today which they weren't and "severe"work order would be done at a later date, which makes no common sense at all. I am driving an hour one way to work for a part time job from this middle of now where town that I came to to visit family and didn't plan to stay at untill I had health issues. I am in good health now and looking for a good job (I drive for a living) and a good place to live so I can get away from Westwood 1 and ConAm Management. If I were some one reading this, believe it, or it might happen to you if you rent from Westwood 1 and ConAm Management. Moving in with family is not an option, I am open for suggestions, miracals do happen, I need the right opportunity to relocate to a better situation as it is tough to get away from here. Jobs are elsewhere but you have to live in the area, can't move with no money. I know there is an answer to this situation.
