I am the President of CV Treasures. I have been collecting and selling Genuine Historical Autographed Memorabilia for over 30 years. Not only is collecting a passion but it is also a livelihood. So, like any highly reputable dealer that discovers a cancer within the industry that can do great harm, such as an Obvious Autograph Forger, I speak out. IN this case, the Author of this report. (NOTE: the Author is NOT John from Westport Connecticut. This report author and seller of autograph forgeris from New Jersey stole this identity from an autograph forum. More evidence of pathological behavior. ).
That is what happened about 4-5 years ago as detailed below.
About 4-5 years ago I noticed a seller on eBay that was buying photos and then weeks later that same photo would be autographed, by deceased celebrities (JFK, Bela Lugosi, John Wayne, etc). I commented on this fraudulent autograph seller on the autograph forum Is It real. He was eventually banned from selling autographs by eBay . But then I noticed this same individually from New Jersey opened a website that is inundated with obvious forgeries.
Well , of course like most commen , at the time he threatened to sue me for outing him. Such empty threats are common from those who engage in criminal activity. Meanwhile, I didnt hear from him for the past few years. Then in the Autograph Magazine Live forum I noticed a derogatory post by an individual that I was certain was this same guy. At the same time I was informed by a customer that there were several Ripoff type reports on the internet by this person stating I sold him a John Hancock for over $100,000 that I forged and would not refund him. Well, the good thing is he didnt make much effort to make his claim sound remotely believable. You see, I have never even owned or sold a John Hancock (I WISH I did!), and Never sold anything at a fraction of $100,000. Way out of my league.
* AND, of course this individual could never provide any proof of purchase or even ownership of such a document.
** If you ever read about someone claiming to have bought a Non-Genuine autograph from us, ask for a legitimate proof of purchase. They will NOT be able to provide any. WHY? Because it is only ONE person posting all the derogatory statements.
The same fraudulent autograph dealer mentioned above. We have not had a reputation for being a highly reputable dealer for over 25+ years for being dishonest.
Furthermore, if we EVER sold a FAKE autograph or not fully refund an autograph that did NOT pass JSA or PSA authentication, we would lose our flawless reputation of 25+ years, not to mention our UACC Dealer designation. Unlike sellers of autograph forgeries we are NOT afraid to guarantee JSA or PSA authentication. Those in the business of forgeries tend to ridicule
independent authentication services since the last thing they want is an "independent" analysis of their fake autographs. These
same unscrupulous individuals also often quote the anti-3rd party authentication blogs.
Yu can read the article we wrote on this experience along with what the e-commerce industry calls Cyber terrorism. Namely, unscrupulous people like the Author of this Ripoff report, that create fabricated, malicious reports under anonymous identities for the sole purpose of TRYING to silence those who Out their criminal activity. NOTE: the very bizarre behavior below where
he creates several shill type responses and then in between claims it is I who created them. This behavior is consistent with someone who reports to Scamming innocent, inexperienced consumers. Full Article is at:

The audacity of whoever keeps posting the obvious shill responses "defending" CV Treasures and Conway is so blatant and unmasked, as to make me wonder if in fact these "defenses" aren't actually being posted by a competitor to make readers THINK the company is writing its own shills.
Whatever the case, I think anyone who wastes money "collecting" such high priced nonsense is basically begging to be ripped off, no matter who the seller is.
What value can an autograph have to anyone normal unless they received it in person from the signer? How can anyone, anywhere attest 100% to the veracity of such a thing?
The losers who get ripped off trying to collect things whose true origins can rarely be authenticated are close to being on par, in my opinion, with those who go to psychics.
Hey Mambo, Mambo Italiano. Anyone got Mambo's autograph?

I think this report would likely raise the rating of CV Treasures on the Internet :p. All intelligent people will look for CV Treasures on search engine and maybe they will become their loyal customers. Who's knows? Many people are sympathetic to those who are marginalized.

You are just blowing what ever credibility you had. If you think Robert from Buffalo is actually the OP then might I suggest that you take a look around this site to see his other postings on many different companies.
By the way why would you keep your comments private on ebay if you had nothing to hide?

Every single shill response above has the same grammatical problems. It's as obvious as a green light meaning Go and red meaning Stop. Therefore we can all now rest assured that the original report against the company is indeed based on credible ground.
I'm surprised you didn't make the same grammar mistakes forging antique letters.
I'm gonna try my hand at it for you:
I to certifying that it famous John Paul Jones to duly commissioner and appoints
it commanding armed Sloop it call Providence and what Sloop is to employed to services of thirteen Uniting States to North Americans witness my feet October 29th 1776 John Handcock.
As for the OP, how on earth did you let yourself give this guy $100,000 outside normal Ebay channels for this?

"Robert" of course the NJ Forger, using ANOTHER "Fake" name , just as you did in the autograph forums and here in Ripoffreport where you STOLE someone else's identity from the autograph magazine Live forum.
THEN WHY don't you STOP creating these , as you define, "Shill" responses, JUST so you can come in here and accuse US of creating them. Or at least don't make it soo obvious it is YOU.
We don't need to create "fake" responses. As you can see there are PLENTY legitimate responses to your FABRICATED Malicious Report you started above, to "get even" with Kevin Conway for "outing" your forgery activity on eBay several years ago. WHY don't you give us all your website address so we can all judge for ourselves how legitimate YOU are??
BTW, it was NOT ONLY Us who reported your forgery operation to eBay which resulted in eBay BANNING you from selling autographs for the past several years. There were several others who reported you.
** OK, I've lowered myself to our level long enough. People like you eventually self-destruct. So I iwll let nature take it course, and no longer respond to your nonsense.
Hopefully one day these ripoff report websites will no longer be a safe haven for Scam-Artists to create fabricated, illegitimate , slanderous attacks on others.

You really should pay your shills more.
I didn't write this Ripoff Report. The alleged owner of the company posted a rebuttal and should have left it at that. But no, we now see a march of illiterate shills posting here. It isn't about "composition 101" as much as it is about 5th grade grammar.
Whenever a bunch of illiterate rebuttals pop up it always throws a cloud over the authenticity of the so called "consumer comments."

Mr Just a Thought, obviously the original poster , aka Forger. Who by the way is NOT "John from Westport, CT". The only John from Westport, CT I know is one of the most reputable autograph dealers in the autograph industry,.. THis fraud who posted this report has been , cowardly using various names he picked up in the autograph forums. He has essentially stolen several REAL people's identity, which will be another criminal indictment when we finish our investigation. His REAL name has been already submitted to authorities. Two points.
1). Looking at the time stamps of the two broken English comments, I think it is obvious the original owner of this fabricated , slanderous report is in a very desperate state in life. So, since he cannot DENY his fictitious report, he changes the subject, to English Composition 101. NO doubt consistent with this fraudulent lifestyle. Not to mention his obsession with Conways Vintage Treasures.
2). We are all still waiting for you to produce a receipt, proof of payment, ANY evidence at all you ever bought a John Hancock letter from Conway's Vintage Treasures . Surely you have a cancelled check for the over $100,000 story you concocted ?? By the way, wouldn't a John Hancock that sold for over $100,000 be a record sale that would surely be picked up by the media or at least the autograph community? Please post images of your receipt, cancelled check to Conways Vintage Treasures. It would be great to see this "letter"..? NOT Holding My Breath.....;}
I think those who stop by their website at www.cvtreasures.com, can see the category of material being sold. Many vintage treasures yes, but far from six figure items.

This report is 100% Fictional
The person who created this fabricated report is an autograph forger who was identified and called out on an autograph forum, and this is his retaliation. Conways has NEVER owned or sold a $100,000 treasure. Conways has NEVER owned or sold a John Hancock letter. The method he mentions of forging from a Hamilton book, certainly reveals the details of his own Forgery business.
If you would like proof this is a 100% fictional posting contact Conways Vintage Treasures and he will provide the REAL story and motives behind this persons malicious campaign. But, when you expose criminal activity like this person, such retaliation is expected.
The guy who keeps posting these reports is doing so, under phony names. You can actually type Conways Vintage Treasures in Google and you will find he has made multiple of this copied and pasted fabricated, slanderous posting under various names he took off the autograph forum. The person is an autograph forger who was identified and called out on an autograph forum, and this is his retaliation. If you would like proof this is a 100% fictional posting contact Conways Vintage Treasures and he will provide the REAL story and motives behind this persons malicious campaign. But, when you expose criminal activity like this person, such retaliation is expected.
But, the good news is when this much attention and effort is afforded by the unscrupulous elements of the autograph industry, you know they are doing something right. So visit their website today and experience for yourself some of the most extraordinary historical autograph memorabilia that makes others so envious. Conways Vintages Treasures Guarantee the Authenticity of Everything we sell for Life and we have a solid 25 year reputation. If it is not already PSA or JSA certified it is 100% Guaranteed to pass certification. Our Guarantee goes beyond what you will find with many other dealers, particularly the shady dealer who wrote this posting.
