I purchase a new (pricey) refrigerator in Februrary, 2013 from the Conn's Store in Burleson, TX.  Was also sold the extended three year warranty.  I was told I had a "free" delivery charge but was billed for it up front with a form to send in for the "rebate".  I've not received any rebate to date.  In addition, less than 8 weeks later the refrigerator quit cooling and the control panel flashed codes instead of temperatures.  That started on Saturday, April 6, 2013.  I called for service on Monday, April 9, 2013 at 9 AM.  I got transferred from dept to dept then put on hold.  Eventually a customer service tech answered and assured me that my complaint was being issued and that a tech would be dispatched.  She stated that I'd get a call within a short time with projected date and time of service call.  I waited all day - no call.  I called back on Tuesday, April 7, 2013 and got the same reply - very vague answers and no appt date.  I explained that this refrigerator was full of cold food that was now ruined.  I asked to speak to a CS manager.  I was told same story - tech had my order and would call me before 10 AM on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2013 to schedule.  No call all day.  I called the store and asked for the manager, after all, they are the ones that sold me the appliance with assurances about Conns great service department!!  He said that they were having a problem getting someone out since I'm in a rural area!  I only live 40 minutes away from his store!  If they don't have someone to cover the rural areas - I say they shouldn't sell to rural areas and definitely don't offer extended warranties.  I'm afraid this appliance is a lemon and I will never buy from Conns again.  Their customer service 'clerk' - Tiffany - was rude, abrupt and did nothing to assure me that they were on top of this issue!
