i had open up an acount with construtiondeal.com. they had ganranteed me cleanings leads,, all the leads was fake and they keep trying to take funds from my credit card

The economy must be tough for the folks at construction deal. Over night they debited my bank account 50 dollars without authorization. I am in the process of trying to close my account with constructiondeal and to get my money back. Constructiondeal was working out just fine for awhile but once they start taking money out of my bank account without my knowledge or authorization I start getting very very concerned. I did speak with an employee of constructiondeal this morning but I felt even more nervous about that organization after talking to her. She said the money was taken out just to make sure the account was active....WHAT? I asked why did they need to take out 50 dollars...duh...no good answer. She said it was going to be returned within 3 to 4 days...WHAT? It ain't their money...why did they take it. I know that some of the online financial institutions, even paypal, will do a small debit of an account in order to get it verfied...but a small debit, usually less than 50 cents which of course they return to the account...NOT 50 dollars. I am certain it was an attempt at theft. I don't know how I could prove that but I am in the process of letting authorities know. I just notified my bank and asked them to reverse the charge an no longer honor any requests from constructiondeal. Be very careful when doing business with constructiondeal.

Hello Mr. Mardis,

I have looked over your account. The only billing that has take place is for the $39.99 annual fee that you agreed too when you signed up and one $10.00 Lead. You advised us you were unable to make a bid and we gave you a full $10.00 credit for that lead. We never charged you again and turned off your account when you requested it closed on 6-15-2010.

We spoke with Dina in your office on 6-3-2010 and explained all services and charges. We have not charged your account since you closed it. We are here to answer any questions or concerns. If anyone has questions please feel free to give us a call at 866-663-4711.
