Consumer Electronics Technological Services ripoff! Dishonest telemarketing! Champlain New York
I've been trying to contact Consumer Electronics Tech Services, 100A Walnut St. D15, Champlain, NY 12919, 888-577-4432. All the info I have is not much. I have a phone number which does not get answered. An address that I believe is just a front. It seems this company is a rip off scam.
The information I was given by Brad the telemarketer was inaccurate. A PC at an inexpensive price yes but I was not told of the three years internet service at $860.40 that was needed to get the PC.
This is fraudulent because C.E.T.S. charges you for the PC which is being given away by an internet service provider. (Peoples Internet) gives you a PC when you sign up for their service.
-284.90 was debited from my account and I would like it back! I do not want the internet service, which I was never told about. There was no return info in the package, which I was told would be included in the package.
If anyone knows how to get in touch with C.E.T.S or how to handle this I would greatly appreciate any information.

Well ripoffreport.com has done it again. I have received a full refund of my money. A principle of CETS viewed my report on ripoff.com and contacted me. After a lengthy and cordial discussion all was settled. I was also informed that the telemarketing company had been let go. Remember buyer beware!

It's the same address as Superior Benefits! This industrial complex owned by Soucy International houses an interesting mixed bag of companies. It is amazing how many cross-border scams appearing in the Rip Off Report have offices in this place! Most of the tenants are probably Montreal based operations using this as their "US" address. Some of the "legitimate" operations in this building should be checked out as well. Got a thousand dollars to blow? You can buy a complete liquid fuel rocket from one outfit at 100 Walnut Street! That was the most interesting discovery when we did a web search for that address. Perhaps Wierd Al should do a commercial for this place!
