Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Do not send your electronics to this company, as they will keep them and probably resell them to some other schmuck.

My girlfriend and I purchased a refurbished Xbox 360 from another website that offered CPS's warranty, and needless to say we purchased it just to make sure.  We purchased the console because it was the cheapest we could find on the internet and I found good reviews about the website and their customer support.  I did not however check into the warranty company.  Bad move.

We receive our Xbox 360 a couple weeks later, around December 15th.  Everything went great until one day I put a game in the system and a screen pops up saying "Please play this disc in an Xbox 360 console".  As though I had put it into a toaster oven.

So, I go online that day and contact CPS, because at that point it was still under warranty.  She tells me that I need to pack the 360 up with everything that was sent to me in the box, and make sure to put a $40.00 check in there as well for "return postage".  Nothing was mentioned about this when I purchased the warranty.

I send the 360 off costing me about $15 in postage because of the weight of the box.  I have called them maybe...30 times...in about an 8 month period.  Talked with multiple people and ran into multiple problems.  Every one of them says they are going to ship it out...yet everytime I call back they can see that it has not been shipped out and that it is at their "repair station".  Essentially I just paid $30 for the warranty, $40 for "return postage", and $15 in postage out, totalling $85...so they could steal it from me.

Please use this report as a warning.  There is always a risk of getting a defunct product (especially electronics) when you order online, but do not get involved with CPS as a company...they are true scam artists.  If your xbox or other electronic device breaks, go somewhere else to fix it because sending it to them means never getting it back.
