*General Comment: Seems justice has finally been served!
I have decided to make my experience with PKTV, Cooking With The Stars (a TV show currently in production) and Daniel L. Dailey, President and Owner of PKTV, public for a few reasonsFirst, to solicit legal advice and second, to make people aware including former clients why I am no longer with the company.
I received a phone call at my desk in the office of PKTV Monday 10/21/08 from Dan Dailey stating "Get the F@$K outta my office, I don't want to work with you any more, you're fired". I tried to ask what I did wrong but was told to get out and I better not be there when he got in. I was told by another employee that he was drunk and on XANAX pills so don't try and reason with him. Apparently this is a common occurrence and was told by other employees to just go home and see if he calmed down later in the day.
I thought that he may have fired me because i was asking to many questions about why "Cooking with the Stars" had not begun airing on the Bravo network in October as we were told and why it does not appear on the Bravo network website schedule as upcoming programming. I came to find out from both employees of PKTV and others who have communication with Dan Dailey and his employees that he fired me for going out with a group of PKTV staff members Friday 10/17/08, one of which was his former girlfriend who he believed I was sleeping with.
At this point I have NO desire to reconcile with Dan or the company but believe that I was wrongfully terminated and that he has in fact broken the law. I am owed commission money that I don't believe I will ever receive so my question to the public, legal advisors and/or state agencies is how should I proceed and should I request not only my commissions owed but a severance package for wrongful termination.
I know that I can file a report with the Florida Department of Labor as well as the State Attorney's Office but I don't want to go that far if Dan is willing to settle this with me directly. I have also been advised to consult with an attorney who will handle the case on a contingency basis so I will have no out of pocket expenses. I believe this is the best route to go since I have witnesses willing to testify that they indeed heard from him first hand the reason for my termination.
Since being terminated, I have begun looking into some of the past businesses of Daniel L. DaileyGOOGLE is an amazing thing. There are quite a few links on the internet concerning companies that he's owned. I intend to keep this posting current as i go thru this process and i will list some of those links in future postings.
I want to apologize in advance to the other PKTV employees whose businesses will be affected by this and future postings but i feel that i have no other recourse. I intend to keep this process public so that at no time can I be accused of any form of wrong doing while seeking a resolution.

The founder of two Deerfield Beach firms suspected of illegally selling human growth hormones and anabolic steroids was criminally charged this week after a five-year federal investigation. Thousands of customers of PowerMedica and Metragen Pharmaceuticals obtained anti-aging, muscle-building drugs without valid prescriptions under Daniel L. Dailey's watch, according to federal charges filed late Wednesday. Dailey was PowerMedica's chief executive officer and later ran Metragen, a company he started. Dailey, of Deerfield Beach, is also accused of hiring a dentist and a doctor with a revoked medical license to sign off on some of those prescriptions without needed medical reviews. Efforts by the Sun Sentinel to reach Dailey by email for comment Thursday were unsuccessful. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration raided PowerMedica's office at 600 W. Hillsboro Blvd. in February 2005, carting off boxes of drugs and 16 file cabinets. The business shut down eight months later, but federal authorities say Dailey transferred its assets to Metragen. Federal authorities allege Metragen continued to sell drugs without valid prescriptions until January 2007. Dailey, 50, faces two criminal chargesconspiracy to unlawfully distribute human growth hormones and conspiracy to distribute steroids. Each charge carries up to five years in prison.I run a legitimate business and worked with Dan very briefly many years ago. Doesn't take long to sniff out yet another ponzi scheme/scam artist. What amazes me is how LONG Dan has been ripping people off and why it took so long, as many times as he came under the light, to see this day. But hey Dan - couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!

If you are approached to advertise or sponsor the tv show "Cooking with the Stars" on Bravo, please GOOGLE the owner, Dan Dailey, before you do anything. He has a bad history in this and other businesses. Also, contact Andria Mitchell or John Fudderman at BRAVO to confirm that they are actually going to air the show on Bravo. Ask if it is a network show/series or infommercial if they are going to air it. I also suggest you check with The Fine LIving Channel and The Travel Channel where Dan Dailey claims the show will also air. If you have a complaint you can file it directly at My Florida Legal dot com which will bring you to the Attorney General of Florida website. Under the CONSUMER PROTECTION tab their is a complaint form. Like the age old-adage says there is always more than one side to any story. Ex employee Milton Campis was terminated not for the reasons he stated but because he failed to follow guidelines established by the company. He was also under scrutiny due to suspicion of substance abuse. He is a disgruntled ex-employee and does not know any other way of getting back at the company other than to incriminate and say disparaging things about the company. We here at PKTV wish him the best and hope that he can learn to move on with his life

The show as of last week is not a Bravo program. He will be buying the time to air the show. FYI...it was supposed to air the 1st quarter of 08 and then the 4th quarter of 08. No airings yet.
