cool ace air ace air telemarketing call to set up unsollicited appointment; lied phoenix Arizona
A representative from Cool Ace Air called my wife to set up an appointment to check our AC units. This was an unsollicited call.
My wife then said she would talk to her husband about this. The representative from Cool Ace Air then stated that he had already talked to me and that I had asked him to set the appointment up with her. She made the appointment.
Two days later my wife let me know about the appointment. Being that this was the first I had heard of this and I had never talked to the rep, we then cancelled the appointment. Three days later a representative from Cool Ace Air called back to reschedule the appointment. He asked, "don't you remember talking to me" and "I would'nt just make this up, I know your cross streets".
I believe this was a scam to try to get their service techs out to our house. After reading the other complaints, I am very glad they did not make it out!
