Coopers DVD Store advertised a Bewitched DVD Collection - Limited Edition DVD Box Set marked down to a special price of $99.95.  The original price is advertised as $349.99.  The ad says, "Every Memorable Episode in One Huge Collection - Lowest Price Online Guaranteed.  What an amazing DVD Set for the Bewitched Fan!"

The ad claims that the set contains:  "All 252 Uncut Episodes 8 Seasons on 51 DVDS, Excellent video and audio quality, 100% in chronological order, Commercial free and unedited, This box set includes all 51 DVDs with Custom Artwork, These DVDs are region free so they will play on any DVD player Worldwide and DVD-Rom, X-Box or PS2 worldwide.

Their website states, "These are brand new, in stock and ready to ship.  On Sale for a Limited Time only."  There is absolutely no indication that the DVDs are home copies.  Upon arrival it was very obvious that they are.  Paper sleeves hold the DVDs with hand written labels in black marker.

The DVDs are contained in what appear to be VHS tape boxes.  As for the custom artwork, I'm speechless.  I've always been under the impression that piracy is illegal.

The cost of shipping was $19.00 because they were being shipped from China.  I wasn't aware of the shipping location until I received the package.

I have been in contact with COOPER'S Customer Support since I received the DVDs and realized they're home made copies.  Their reply said, "Please kindly note that an Official DVD Collection has never been released for this series and what you received was a Collectors/Fan Version."

To date there have been numerous e-mails with no resolution.  They refunded $50.00 of the purchase price, but stated that I have 14 days to return the "new", "unused" collection for a refund.  Their website says you have 30 days to return merchandise for a refund.

I sent another e-mail to customer service on January 3, 2012.  Today is January 9, 2012 and I haven't received a reply.

The copies are of very poor quality.  There are bits of commercials fast forwarded throughout.  Parts of the episodes are fast forwarded which make them non-viewable.

I could have ordered 8 individual, studio released seasons of Bewitched for $115.00 with free shipping.  COOPER'S website leads one to believe that what they're selling is a studio released, limited edition, complete box set.  Of course after the sale, they inform you via e-mail that they're "fan copies".

Although they refunded $50.00 of the purchase price, which hasn't been refunded according to my credit card statement, I'm out $50.00 for illegal home copies, plus $19.00 shipping to receive them, plus an additional $19.00 shipping if I were to return them, which adds up to $88.00.  $138.00 if I don't receive the $50.00 refund they promised.

I plan to report this transaction to the proper authorities.  Hopefully, everyone reads this report before ordering from COOPERS DVD Store.  I purchased this set as a Christmas Gift.  So disappointing.
