Copelamd Marketing

1468 W International Speedway Blvd .,

Daytona, FL 32114 USA

Phone: 800-269-0143

Date of Purchase: 10-27-2005

Product or Service Involved: timeshare listed for sell

Cost of Product: $699.00

I spoke with Bonnie Quick at Copeland Marketing Oct. 27,2005 she told me that if the timeshare didn't sell within one year from signing the listing that I would receive a refund. This is straight from their agreement that I signed.

(6.REFUND POLICY: If you, or any company, can show CMC proof of sale (title transfer of at least $500) within one year of signing up with our service, we will refund the processing fee in full plus 10% of the sales price received. You can not reach anyone by phone. Their website is down and I threatened them with you on a voice mail and I got a phone call but I still have not spoken with anyone in person. I received an email from Miranda stating that my agreement on the phone with Bonnie Quick meant nothing because I signed the agreement. You can see why I thought if they didn't sell my timeshare within 1 year I would get my money back because #6 on the refund policy says within one year.

Does this mean that I am out $699? I hope you look in to the reports on the internet about this company. I am not the only one being ripped off. I googled complaints against Copeland Marketing and all of them are very similar to mine.company, can show CMC proof of sale (title transfer of at least $500) within one year of signing up with our service, we will refund the processing fee in full plus 10% of the sales price received.

This is an update to the last post. The official BBB report is now at 275! here is the report: orlando.bbb.org/newsearch2.asp? ComID=07330024000691 I'd say it was about time for the victims to start contacting each other and start a class action suit. All you need to do is search on google.com for "copeland marketing victims" and you will find each other! Does anybody have a lawyer?

I just wanted to point out, that if you read all of the ripoff reports on Copeland Marketing Corp, owned and operated by Jason and Andrea Lunt of Daytona Beach Florida, you may notice that this is now the third (3rd) ex-employee that is stating that Copeland Marketing has used deception to scam people out of their money! The better Business Bureau report is now approaching 260 complaints!!!! http://www.orlando.bbb.org/newsearch2.asp?ComID=07330024000691 To James in Hillsboro.... Since you are a lawyer, help us to start the class action suit.. You can contact us by simply googling "copeland marketing" and look for the yahoo group... we have enough members and we know how to contact thousands of victims!

Bobbi, I can assure you of 2 things...1) Copeland Marketing scammed you and 2) they scammed me, too. No-one scammed you with the one year refund policy, there isn't one. The contract does read "if you or anyone else can show proof of SALE..." But thats not the point here. I honestly thought the company was doing something to help the people I signed up with them. I asked numerous times exactly how were the properties being sold. I was either told "don't worry about it" or that the listings were "farmed out". I was told to say things to reassure people that signing was the best thing they could do. I am VERY sorry for the people that lost money because of me or anybody else at Copeland. I thought I had a good job with nice people offering a good service. The first time the authorities showed up at Copeland, I was the first one to start asking questions. They knew I didn't believe a word of their explanations so they promptly found a way to get rid of me. They are nowing trying to slander me on this site as well as personally. If they had just done what they told us to say they were doing, none of this ever would have happened and so many people would not have been hurt. If I personally could get your money back for you, I would. I can't. You can call the credit card company and they will help you. All I can say is that I'm sorry and hope that is enough. -Bonnie PS-Andrea, please don't start a war with me over this. I don't see you sticking up for your employees or ex-employees.
