Copy Com Distribution, Inc. Copy Com Distribution, INC Scams you into ordering toner when it's free through your services agreements!!!! Los Angeles, California
This company called me yesterday and said they were from our tech support company and that it was time to order new toner. I, having just ran out thought "Oh, perfect".
They went on to say that they had forgotten to mail us the letter informing us that prices on our toner had gone up but they would offer us last years price for the lapse in communication. He then informed me that his distribution department would be calling later to confirm shipment and that they would fax over an order form that I needed to sign and fax back.
When the order form came in I read it over and noticed it was a little fishy so I asked around the office an apparently this company calls and tries to get our new hires to order the toner every couple of months! There is a huge box on the top of the form that says the following: "You have placed an order for offices supplies with Copy Com Distribution, Inc., A TELEMARKETING FIRM which may not be your regular supplier and the prices may not be the same as you pay from your regular supplier."
All I can say is thank goodness I asked around and didn't send over the order form. These people should be arrested and fined for pulling stunts like this. People could lose their jobs for accepting these orders!
