CORTEZ TOWING - ALFONSO CORTEZ THESE JERKS TOWED MY CAR ILLEGALLY AND LIED ABOUT IT Riverside California
On December 7. 2003 , my fiancee and i drove into the university greens townhome complex in riverside. We went into my cousins house which we had been visiting for the first time. at 4:00 we left to get bite to eat and when we returned my 98 GMC Sonoma was gone!
I called the police and said they had no record when or if my car was towed after calling again they informed me that Cortez Towing took my car. I called cortez at 8 pm that day and they said it was $245 for a full day and storage charges FOR FOUR HOURS! They said i could pay cash only and that security reported my car for them to tow. UNIVERSITY GREENS HAS NO SECURITY!!!! when i caught the dispatcher in her lie she became hostile and hung up.
They wouldnt let us see the contract there was no time or driver recorded on the receipt, and they did not specify charges. The city of riverside is currently investigating Cortez for operating without a business permit which they were cited 3 times for in the past. THEY LIED TO ME DONT LET THEM LIE TO YOU! KNOW YOUR RIGHTS!
