One month ago I purchased a scooter from www.countyimports.com. The next day I recieved a confirmation email that my purchase was completed and I had to sign and file an online purchase agreement, which I did. The website says deliver 5-15 days from "Delivery time starts counting when we process your payment." Payment was taken out of my account on 9-17-2012. The 15 business days have passed and the numbers provided on the webpage all go to voicemail.

I emailed the sales department at their provided email, the address provided by the company on their email confirmation, and a third email address [email protected]. That was on the 15th and 16th business day. I understand the website and the automated message says that delivery may take up to 21 business days. Well that is in 4 more business days and if I don't have any communication from them I'm going to start legal proceedings in getting my money back.

The answering service/voicemail says that orders may take longer for instances of difficulty with payment or inventory. Obviously, payment isn't the issue as I have paid in full. If inventory is the issue, shouldn't the company provide me with a status update or give me the option of picking another scooter of equal value? At the time of order, the scooter I picked clearly said it was "In Stock." What is going on with the customer service at this company? I believe I'm getting ripped off.

Update: 21st business day, no scooter, no contact with company

Well, it is the 21st business day and no shipping information from countyimports.com and not able to contact them. After I posted the original message, I received a phone call from a man from ePunkinc, they power the countyimports.com webpage. He stated he was trying to contact customers about issues or errors with their orders. He apologized and told me that my scooter was packaged and ready to go and that it would be shipped the next day, which was the 12th of September. He also told me I can expect the tracking information within two business days once it has shipped by email and it would also show on my account information when I log in. Well it's been almost three and no information. I really believed that I would get that information by Monday, but no go. I'm going to start the process of receiving my money back, because at this rate, if I get the scooter, I feel like it'll be falling apart or haphazardly put together. I thought even it's a cheaper Chinese made scooter, it'll look pretty and as long as it gets me to and from work, i would be happy. Dealing with this company has made me unhappy, discouraged, and frustrated. I should have spent the extra money and purchased a scooter from Honda or someplace reputable.
