Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

In mid October (2013) I was going through my email and received an email from Covington, Who's Who Networking Career. I had never heard of the website before. However, I heard of Who's Who, accredited for scholars and achievements. So, just thought it was one of their sister organizations.

So, I search engine the website provided and it seemed legit and signed up. I signed up for information and a representative by the name of Justin contacted me. He congratulated me on being selected and needed school information and career.

After gathering all the information, I was unaware of the membership fees; fees were not included in their advertisement in the electronic form. He also emailed me the certificate for Covington, Who's Who via email. I have as proff of membership and my biography.

He was persistent and quoted various prices for memberships. I agreed to the trial membership of $99.00 dollars. Sometime in Novemeber, collectors tried to collect money out of my account for the book. I had no knowledge of this action until the series of calls. I told them, I didn't have funds for the hardcover book, but would take the soft cover for $150.00.

I had agreed to $50.00 dollars in November and December a final payment of $100.00. The service representative said the book would be ready by Janurary (2014). The latter part of Decemeber comes and I received another call for the final payment. Convington, Who's Who, had moved my membership to a higher membership and requesting more money and rewards.

I told them, I could not afford the monies they were asking for the new membership and to use the $50.00 as my last payment. When, I said this the representative was not too pleased. She told me after finishing the call, if someone in NY decides to call and offer me the same deal, decline since I am working with them.

January comes around no book. Feburary no book in my possession. I called the organization numerous times, there's no answer. Goes straight to voicemail. So then, I do a little research on the website and discover the organization has been reported to the BBB.

I went straight my bank, TD Bank to dispute the claim. Due to the window for the 60 days. I wasn't going to be refunded the first initial payment. However, I would be able to recoup the $150.00 back. I filed the claim and waited (7 to 10) business days and requested a new bank card.

The firm claim was denied due to lack of contacting the company. I had explained to the bank, contacting Covington is impossible, because they refuse to pick up the phone. I have tried to call back on numbers occasions throughout the course of Feburary and March.

I requested a second claim Saturday last week. I was denied again due to the 60 day window. I just want my $249.00 back that's it.

Sunday, I call Covington and there's a call service center representative named Kyle. She's unable to provide me the information needed. However, Monday, Covington called my phone. The call was taken. When, I said "Hello" the other person said the same and continued and finally hung up.

I tried to call back numerous times that Monday and left message. Around 6:30 or 6:45pm, I make a final call to Covington. Another call service center representative by the named Rob.

Due to this incident, I am taking a proactive approach in advocating my rights to authorities. Yes, I am dragging Covington, Who's Who name through the mud. Everyone deserves to be compensated there money back no matter how big or small.

I have no book in possession or anything of that nature. I just want my money back, so I can finish paying for my graduate school graduation in May (2014).  I don't want anything they have to offer. Just my money.

I have not retrieved any of the rewards/benefits such as trip vouchers or anything of that nature. I have a new debit card and trying to spread the word about this organization. It's just sick to know people, prey on innocent people.

I just want my money back and justice. Covington you are Money Hungry Devils. Beware.
