WE SELL LEMONS, WE ARE COX
(Please sing to the tune of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star")
Anyone can 'Google' this- KIDS MIDI PAGE, and click on 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' and sing the following lyrics to that midi tune, right?
Here we go- 1, 2, 3, 4....
We sell lemons, we are Cox
Our GM wears smelly socks
All our cars and all our trucks
Will break down 'cause Cox sure sucks
Bumpy ride, it has bad shocks
We sell lemons, we are Cox.
(Repeat)

Since your report is so vague and is beginning to look like buyers remorse, I sent the link to this report to Cox.
Maybe they can clear it up.

"I'm stuck with a LEMON and a unsafe one at that .."
WHAT is unsafe with your car?
What makes it a "LEMON?"
A lemon is a car that has failed numerous repair attempts...NOT failed to be cleaned.
Again, what makes the car they sold you unsafe?
All you've posted is it's dirty...not too cool on their part, but certainly not earth shaking.

The most basic procedure one performs when offering a vehicle for sale is to make it as clean as its condition allows. Any idiot knows this and a dealer that doesn't must be a sub-idiot. A dealer who doesn't bother to complete this very simple task is not likely to have done anything else either, such as assessing the car's mechanical condition. Even the shadiest lots I have seen had relatively clean cars. The only widespread exception is vehicles sold at public auctions, those are usually not groomed prior to sale to keep costs down and because most buyers are dealers who will add value to them by -at the very least- removing cigarette butts from the ashtray. I mean jeez, all it takes is a bottle of no-name Windex and 8$ worth of cheap labor to vacuum floors and seats.

Tried not only to deliver a dirty car to me, but a damaged car.
They told me to take it anyhow and bring it back "next week" to fix and clean it. The interior looked like a freaking bird cage and the body looked like some angry teenage babies mama took a key to it.
So I used my freedom of choice to tell them "NO, I will NOT take this car off the lot until it is like new...inside and out"...
Granted it took them an extra week or two..but I eventually drove off the lot with a car that was clean, and the body and interior looked like new as per our "verbal" agreement.
What some of these soulless dealers are counting on, is that you got rid of your previous ride and then out of desperation decide to take the messed up damaged vehicle off the lot. BIG MISTAKE. Once you drive it off the lot, it is yours "as is" unless there was a fraud in the ad for the car (you got a copy of the ad)??...
So as a lesson since I have been taken by these stealerships in the past...is beat them at their own game. DO NOT get rid of or sell your current vehicle until the vehicle you are purchasing from these creeps is acceptable to you. Only then should you drive it off the lot. Best advice I can give.

Your complaint is nothing but hot air.

Thanks for writing back! At the end of my report I said I would give all the details. I don't think they will allow me to write as much as I need to on this site!! Here is part of it!
First of all, I trusted Cox Chevrolet because the have been in business since 1926 and they are a so called FAMILY operated--Oh! right a Tradition!! My first mistake!!
I have been buying Chevy cars since I was old enough to drive and I have never ever been treated so unfair and lied to like Cox lied to me. They pulled the old looks good but its a Lemon suckers!!
I was going to take a loan out to buy my daughter a car at Cox-Guess what no way in Hell!!
Second, they (cox) said they did their 90 whatever point check so this should mean it was checked really good--how it drives(handles),tires and rims, body(structure is good),etc...
HA!HA! Oh! how about being clean NOT!!
Next, I got scamed! the car has problems and they knew it!! They had their so-called mechanics check it why do I need to have another one check it?? Should I not trust this dealership Cox Chevrolet?? How many trusted mechanics do I know- here in Florida none!! I know some really Good ones up NORTH!!
Finally, I'm not going to say more because I have decided to take action--it will cost me!! There goes my loan for my daughters car!!"Sorry Hun!!"
Hope Cox is reading this--You are what your name sounds-- U COXs

according to information that is available on the web, it might make sense to send a copy of your Ripoff Report to Ben Bernanke, right?
You can 'Google' this- FRB: ADDRESSES AND PHONE NUMBERS, and mail a copy of your Ripoff Report to Mr. Bernanke in Washington DC, so he and all of the others who make up the Fed are aware of what's going on, okay?
Feel free to send a copy of your Ripoff Report to all of your Local T.V. News stations in your city. (Put it to the attention of 'Investigative Reporter'.)
Finally, make sure to 'Google' this- WHO OWNS THE FED?, and go to the site with the five charts. General Motors is listed in 'Chart 3'.
Good luck to you.

I will tell the whole story in detail if any News paper or other persons are interested!!!
- Okay I am interested, so how about posting the details here.
When you do please start with what you did during the test drive to check out the car. Then also be sure to include what YOUR mechanic said when you had them check it out BEFORE you bought it. While you are at it include what proof you have that they knew there were these issues when you bought it.

You write and write and give no explanation of what is wrong. Yiou say it is unsafe, Why.you bought it. Some information about your problem might be nice. If you bought it as is you are out of luck. your complaint gives no details and it should.
