I spoke with a Cox Customer Advocate yesterday and again today and I will say she was more than fair. The outcome of my two conversations with her have led to a very satisfactory resolution regarding the issues in my above complaint (I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and informed them the issues in my complaint appear to have been resolved with the help of the Cox Customer Advocate and that I am satisfied with the outcome).

We received a letter today from a collection agency on behalf of Cox Communications for the amount of 111.00. Apparently the issues we're having with Cox Communications have not been resolved with the help of the Better Business Bureau or by contacting Cox directly. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's Office regarding the poor service, failure to disclose policies regarding returns/cancellations, and Cox Communication's claims that they disconnected our phone service on 1-23-09 and as such are charging us for the service through 1-23-09 even though we specifically requested that phone service be disconnected on 1-9-09 along with cable and internet and even though we had new service installed (including phone) with another service provider effective 1-9-09.
