CPS MY KIDS LIVE UNHEALTHY WHEN THEY HAVE OTHER OPPURTUNITIES Greenville Texas
I filed a claim of my two children under my ex's custody, living with the grandparents in a home built in the 1800's and NEVER have had any repairs or remodeling. The house is falling apart, ceiling and floors falling through, plumbing not working, expired, and roach infested food in the house. This house should be condemed. My ex lives with her parents and can't do anything on her own. The kids have the oppurtunity to live with me, but because I don't have the funds to go to court I can't do anything about it. I live in a home I purchased working hard everyday to improve my home, and cleaning is a non-stop for me. I live in a very clean environment, and also live in the 3rd best school district in the state of Texas, which the kids school they attend now can't even meet the Texas' minimum requirements. I was told by CPS that there is nothing wrong with the house because the utilities were on. I guess they don't have a problem with the house falling apart. I don't think they care about my kids living in filth and bugs all around the house. I really believe that I have don't have a fair oppurtunity to take the custody of my children, because the family is a very long resident of the area and all it takes it to know the right people, which they know. I am trying hard everyday to provide a nice home, paying my child support that does not support my children, and uses no government assistance in any way. The family they live with does not own a thing and uses Medicaid, Food-Stamps, and have 6 people living in a 2 bed house falling apart, and I don't have a leg to stand on, except the filth, which CPS is okay with. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE SYSTEM.
