Throughout 2008-2009 Craig Scherf contacted numerous developers, contractors and landowners in the State of Arizona and took cash deposits in exchange for promises to provide construction funding for numerous developments.  The deposits ranged from $2500 - $35,000.  The total cash taken was more than $100K of which Craig did not provide funding to a single individual or project.  Moreover, Craig Scherf is not a licensed Mortgage Broker.  None of the deposits where returned.  During this same time period Craig Scherf forged Tom Hale of the previously know Hale Funding Group of Scottsdales name on an LSR in an attempt to secure funding for a project.  Copies of the forged document have been forwarded to the Department of Financial Institutions and a formal complaint was filed against his real estate license BR 560481000 with Remarkable Realty - AZ Homes by Craig Scherf LLC and his new license LC631980000 which he holds as an Associate Broker with Elite Commercial.  Use extreme caution when doing business with this individual.  A list of documents and names of individuals who lost money is available simply by responding to the report.

In response to the original report, I am not a licensed mortgage broker, nor have I ever been.  I am a licensed real estate broker.  I sent numerous funding projects to Tom Hale and Accociates.  This report was filed by J.R. Hudspeth, [email protected]., 602-721-6662.  JR Hudspeth presented us with a development stating false information, land ownership, and development licensing.  After numerous meetings with Tom Hale and JR Hudspeth, we removed ourselves from the fraudulant development.  JR Hudspeth was unable to complete his development due to the listed fraud. After intense investigation, I found fraudulant posession of a land deal in Payson, AZ where Pinnacle Development frauded a land owner out of her legal right of ownership.  We confronted JR Hudspeth and he became violent and threatening where we once again removed ourselves from any association with him.  As of to date, Tom Hale has closed his doors to numerous complaints and JR Hudspeth is continuing to mislead and misrepresent himself to other brokers and agencies.  I have contacted ADRE and Arizona Dept. of Financial Institution and my companny, myself, and my employees have done no wrong doings under any State or Federal laws.  We wish Mr. Hale and JR Hudspeth the best wishes and that God may help them to find their inner soul and inner peace.  God will always help you find the right path.
