CrateFurniture Ordered $1100 worth of cushions. NOTHING in return! Petersburg Virginia
On July 6, 2007 I ordered $1100 worth of replacement Cargo Furniture cushions and a few accessories. The charge cleared my bank that day, I used a Mastercard Debit Card. Initially told that my order would take 8 - 10 weeks for delivery. I didn't think this was extreme due to the cushions being a custom order.
I called to check on the order in October but only got the answering machine, so I left a message. I received a recorded message the next day stating that their supplier was back logged and to expect up to a 90 day delay. I wasn't happy about this developement but willing to work with them since I really needed/wanted the cushions and other items.
After repeated calls to get someone, anyone, I finally left a message stating I wanted a refund and to please contact me to confirm my request. Received a recorded message at 5:01 pm at my place of business, I had requested on my message that they contact me at work before 5:00 pm, that stated they would credit my banking institution the full amount.
It has now been 2 more months with no resolve. I'm quite sick to my stomach about losing $1100 of hard earned money. I had previously researched this company, actually for about 3-4 years, with nothing that would allude to this type of business practice. If anyone knows of how to get their money returned, please post on this website the hows and wheres.
