I ordered 4 replacement cushions and covers on Sept 12, 2007, was told the cushions would arrive by Oct 8, 2007. Two weeks after the scheduled delivery date I called asking for an update on the status of the order (it had been charged on my credit card the day of the order request, red flag). I was told, by voice mail response (red flag), my order was being processed and it would be shipped within 4 weeks. After the order did not arrive, I called again and was told it would be shipped within 4 weeks (recorded voice mail response again). The first week of December 2007 I called and asked that the order be cancelled and the charge credited to my credit card account. I received a recorded message that my order was cancelled and the account would be credited. Two weeks later I called again asking to be credited and received the same recorded message stating my account would be credited. As of the end of Dec 2007 my account has not been credited and I am unable to contact CrateFurniture to resolve. I'm starting to catch on to the business model! If you have had your money stolen by this scam operation help remove this business from the internet. Maybe even get them invited to an adventure in the Federal Court System. Contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC.gov) "Consumer Protection" tab "File a Complaint" tab and also the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3.gov). Fill out the complaint forms to prompt the federal government to get involved in shutting down this internet scam. And of course notify the Petersburg Police Department (((redacted))).
