Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My wife and I purchased a 2006 SeaDoo GTI SE jet ski on 7/15/06. At first we wanted a special that was selling for $8900. However, that model wasn't available, even though we signed a contract for it. Settling for a better model, the salesman, Steve, told us that we were paying $500 less than manufactures list price. We signed all the paperwork and were very happy with our purchase. Our friend who went along with us also purchased a jet ski. Funny, his signed contract for a particular model wasn't available either and got duped into a much higher priced one.

That evening a few friends told us they thought we paid too much. Actually, we paid $2000 over list price. Amazed by this, I had two friends go into their store on 7/16 and they were quoted the same exact jet ski for the actual list price of $8600 not the $10,408.32 we paid. Funny, they claim insanely low prices What we actually got was insanely high prices.

I then called the store and spoke to the salesman. He said that we got a very good deal and when I asked him if I paid less than list price, again he said we did $500 less than list. Mentioning that 2 friend's story, his entire story and attitude changed. He said they low-ball all the customers and that the first choice model, even when having a signed contract will never be available. They always try to up sell. Let me tell you, I'm beyond shocked that I heard those words come out of his mouth.

I tried calling 3 different managers; Michael, Jerry, and Alex. All said they would call back in 15 minutes. They never call back. Funny, all the managers claim that a mistake was made, but they never call back! No phone call. It turns out that the General Manager, who I was told was Alex, does not exist. They use false advertising, bait & switch, and price gouging. By the way, the other friend I went with over paid by $1400 because of their unethical practices.

Shame on me for not doing my homework, but shame on Crazy Freddy's Motor Sports

for the following unethical practices:

False Advertising: Motto of Insanely Low Prices Actually, Insanely HIGH prices

Bait & Switch: They get you in with a cheap non-existent model

Price Gouging: Add thousands to retail and tell you your paying less than retail

Has the issue been resolved

I am having the same exact issue with this guy - the credit card application contained falsified information (they actually had someone fill out a second application and then handed it to me to sign as if I'd filled it out myself).  Additionally, the sales slip and invoice both have discrepant model numbers.
Was this issue resolved and if so, how?

Upon review of all documents with my attorney, Invoice # 1604, which is the actual sales invoice, clearly changes everything. Located on the top right hand corner is the relevant purchase information. The invoiced item is for a 2006 Kawasaki Model STX15F with a Serial Number of USKAW44xx. Handwritten sales contract #2380 clearly states the purchase is for a New SeaDoo GTI SE with a serial number of USKAW44xx. In my opinion, this sale is now null and void. In closing, an acceptable outcome or shall I say desired outcome is: (1) return received vehicle and receive a full & complete refund of all funds paid, or (2) a lump sum refund of $4000.00 to cover all pricing differences, expenses related, and monetary compensation.
