Where is Credit Card Service Bureau CCSB Credit card replacements, address changes Chicago Illinois
I, too, am [was] a “Lifetime Member” of CCSB, dating back to the 80’s. I don’t remember how I heard about them, but I do know they were based in Chicago, and they moved offices within Chicago one or two times. I wrote a check for my lifetime membership and never had a problem.
I had all my credit cards listed with them, and when I moved (five times until 2005) they changed my address with every creditor with no problem.
About two or three years ago I wanted to update my list of cards. I called the last known number in Chicago, and a lady told me to fax my list to an 800-number which I did not recognize. I did NOT.
Shortly thereafter I went on a hunt for CCSB and discovered that their address had changed to a one-room office in the Miami area. And no, they never answered their phone. I have since misplaced the address and phone number.
Subsequently I wrote to Consumers Union and asked if there were anything I could do. I was and still am concerned about all those credit card numbers being out there. CU never answered.
If anyone ever finds this outfit,it would be nice if the info were to be published right here.
