you have the right to validation of debt under the Fair Debt collection Act. I would ignore their phone calls and cut right to ending the problem. File complaints with the attorney General office of your state. Missouri I am sure has a consumer protection division. the better business bureau is worthless. Also file a complaint with the federal trade commission. Now they don't act on individual complaints. However, they do on many complaints. I am not an attorney!!! search on these terms Missouri attorney general, consumer protection Missouri You are bound to come up with something If nothing else goto Debtorboards.com and learn your rights http://www.FTC.gov Best of luck to you nathan
