I PURCHASED MY CAR DECEMBER 31, 2004. I PAID MY CAR PAYMENTS FOR TWO YEARS ON TIME. MY LOAN IS ONLY FOR 36 MONTHS FOR A LOAN OF $8,000.00 DOLLARS. I HAVE BEEN PAYING $250.00 FOR PAYMENT OF $215.93. I KNOW MY CREDIT IS NOT +A ONE BUT I AM HUMAN AND DEMAND RESPECT WHEN A COMPANY IS CALLING MY HOME ON LATE PAYMENTS. I GOT 30 DAYS BEHIND AND MRS. S. MORRIS CALLED AND INFORM ME THAT THEY WERE GOING TO REPO MY CAR IF I DID NOT PAY BY THE SAME DAY SHE CALLED ME TO INFORM ME. WELL, I TALKED TO THE CREDIT MANAGER NAME MRS.A. BARAY. I THOUGHT IF I TALKED TO SOMEONE WHO I THOUGHT HAD HIGH AUTHORITY, I WOULD COME TO AN AGREEMENT. BUT, SHE WAS JUST AS RUDE AND NON-PROFESSIONAL AS THE OTHER REP!!! WHERE IS THE JUSTICE AND THE PROFESSIONALISM!!! THESE COMPANIES ARE LOANING US MONEY BUT WANT YOUR FIRST BORN IN RETURN!!!I HATE THEM AND WILL TRY TO BORROW MORE MONEY TO PAY THIS LOAN OFF!!!!

When you signed your loan contract were there any clauses stating you could be late for any number of reasons no there aren't. You have a 10 day grace period that is allowed by law and no more the rest is up to bank policy. The employees you were working with are only doing thier jobs enforcing the policy I understand your frustration and I as I said in my earlier post we work with our members who have problems but you posted like you were entitled to be late. You post on a rip off report that because your bank didn't allow you to be late they had ripped you off when you in fact are ripping them off by not making your payment on time. Explain to me how it is rude and unproffessional for the employees to inform you that because of your delinquency they can repossess your car? Noone wants your first born just the money you borrowed. Of course there is a very simple solution to the problem - pay your loan note on time and you will never have to deal with those employees again.

I am a Collections manager for a Credit Union and I wanted to respond and let you know how it works because you seem to be blaming the bank for your tragedies in life. Where I work if a member is delinquent 21 days we issue a repo notice giving you another 21 days to bring the loan current or we reposses the car. Once a loan has 3 repo notices we can and will pick up the car without notice and you are responsible to pay the balance of the loan. We only issue a notice if the member ignores letters and phone calls. If there is a problem with a member being able to make the payment we expect that member to call as soon as possible so we can make payment arrangements. We are not mind readers there is no way for us to know why your not paying for all we know you have skipped with our collateral because you havent called. When you applied for the loan did you ask what collections policy was? Did you have to wait 30 days to recieve your loan, propably not so why should the bank have to wait 30 days for your payment - you signed a contract promising to pay on the date specified - if you are 1 day late you are in default and the bank has every right to take the collateral. Everyone has problems - the bank doesn't care what your problems are - do you have any idea how many times a day we have to listen to boohoo stories after a car has been repossessed - too litte too late - Be the responsible adult and pick up the phone and let them know whats going on they appreciate that more than you calling when its 30 days late. Good Luck

1) If the purchase was made on 12/31/04, then including this month, the most you could have been current is 7 months. 2) By your own admission, you are 30 days behind on a B or C rated car note. 3) Nowhere in your report does it show that you've done ANYTHING to cure your delinquency, nor that you called the lender BEFORE you defaulted to make some kind of arrangement. Basically, you have shot your credit all to hell, and haven't learned your lesson. You waited until the collections department HAD to call you, and remind you that if you DONT pay on time then the collateral (the vehicle) will be repossesed. Apparently, basic math isn't your strong suit (Dec 2004 to Aug 2005 isn't even 1 year!) but you want to be coddled as if YOU and not the loan company is the VICTIM in this situation. Grow up...pay your bills on time, then you wouldn't have to be treated so "poorly" because you wouldn't be screwing companies out of money that YOU signed a contract for.
