CRESTONE AT SHADOW MOUNTAIN CHEAP MANAGEMENT POOR MAINTENANCE PHOENIX Arizona
ever since Fairfield took over the property, it has gone down hill. They made cosmetic changes ouside (painted buildings) but that's about it. Their maintenance is PI** POOR. I submitted an email request through their website at the end of June (I cc'd myself so I would have proof).
2 faxes, 4 phone calls and in the begining of August the work was completed after hours by the property manager. Minor repairs - broken blinds, air conditioning, closet door all took repeated calls to be completed.
I've sent 3 emails to Fairfield corporate to call me regarding the problems and I have received no response. Management continues to make the front of the property look great - manicured landscape, nice pool furniture, sparkling pool and hot tub. But in the rear sections there's sub-par furniture, the volleyball court is unkempt, the pool is cloudy and not cleaned as often as the front (I got an ear infection), the landscape and bushes go unkempt for longer periods of time.
My bike was stolen during the day off of my porch. It was there when I left for work and gone when I came home. They have a theft problem there. One of the neighbors who has lived there for a few years has had all sorts of problems.
My a/c was leaking water one night. I started calling 24-hour maintenance at 830 that night. I made multiple calls and no response. I could not run the a/c at night because it would have leaked water. It was hot that night. I called the office the next morning and the response I got was the maintenanace man didn't hear the phone, we'll have someone out there today.
That was the end.....I refused to pay rent for September until someone has addressed this problem. I was told you still have to pay rent on time. I contacted corporate 3 times and have not heard from them. Last night I came home to a locks changed notice. No 3-day notice to evict was given.
I do not suggest moving there.
