Crestview Lending Group / Jeremy Fenwick Will Steal Your Money South Bend Indiana
Jeremy Fenwick called from Crestview Lending saying he approved me for a 5000.00 loan via a private lender. Due to some marks on my credit he said the private lender needed a 900.00 security deposit that would need to be sent via moneygram. He faxed me over documents that verified the loan agreements terms and conditions. I signed and faxed paperwork back then sent the 900.00.
Jeremy calle dme back the next day to say the lender wanted another 900.00 as they were concerned with my credit. Like an idiot I sent an additional 900.00 on a Friday. He said the money would be wired into my account by 5pm pst. The night came and went and no money. I called and left a message for Jeremy. I tried customer service and a recording said they were unavailable.
Monday came with no money and when I called the number would disconnect. I filed a report with the BBB and noticed 3 other reports files but were never completed as the mailing address came back returned. After doing more reaearch i found out it is not legal in the United States for any lender to ask for a deposit. If your credit stinks then most likely you will just flat not qualify for a loan. Lesson learned.
