Cricket Wireless Broadband Fraudulent Billing, RUDE and INCOMPETENT customer service Las Vegas, Nationwide
Cricket Broadband is not only absurdly slow, but it is also a scam. If you go into a store location, you will most likely not be greeted, but will be ignored while whatever incompetent teenager behind the counter finishes her conversation. If you are in Las Vegas, DO NOT GO TO THE NELLIS AND VEGAS VALLEY LOCATION unless you enjoy being mistreated by a mute lump. When you set up service, you are automatically double-billed, so there is no grace period if you are a day behind in your payment, you will be disconnected because according to them, you are already 30 days behind. When you do make your payment, you will only get as many days as are left to the month. If it's 29 days late, you will get one day of service for your $40+, and the next bill will be due.
And god forbid anything happens to your modem, they will not repair or replace it but will charge you about 200 for the privilege of purchasing and activating a new one. That little white dot, don't even breathe on it or they will tell you you got it wet. I had to have my brother fix my modem when the wires got knocked loose inside because they told me I submerged it in water (my dog bumped into it while it was plugged into the computer, not quite the same thing).
And pay attention to the fine print on the rebate. You have to have servce for 45 consecutive days before you are eligible, but you have to mail it in in less than 30 days or it will be denied. If you can get internet service by any other means, I highly recommend it!!
