I contacted this company via telephone to buy a phone for one of my kids.  First, they told me that the phone was only $29.99 and the activation would be $15.00.  That makes a total of $44.99, but they debited by account for more than $60.00!  When I called to find out why I got transferred from person to person and hung up on before I even got someone on the phone who even attempted to help.  I eventually spoke to several people who told me that they couldn't "see" what I was charged for because the information wasn't included in their computer systems.  BULLS&%$.  They were, however, able to tell me that the INTERNET price for the phone I purchased was $39.99, and that is what I had been charged.  Supposedly the call was "escalated" twice to upper management, but I'm still waiting on a return call.

THEN...my phone wasn't even delivered when they said that they would.  When I called a day after it was supposed to be delivered, I was told that the package was in Washington D.C. and had been held up due to inclimate weather.  The representative told me that I would receive it by the next day.  After 2 or 3 days passed and still no phone, I called the wonderful jerk offs at Cricket again and was told that THE PHONE HADN'T EVEN BEEN SHIPPED.  Classic idiots.

NEXT...I just checked my bank statement and found that Cricket went BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT and debited money WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION--and it was not even the $25.00 that the pre-paid plan was supposed to be, but $33.01!  And ON TOP OF THAT, it hasn't even been A FULL MONTH since I ordered the friggen phone!  When I called them to ask why they did it they claimed that I SIGNED UP FOR AN AUTOMATIC DEBIT!  I never signed or requested an automatic debit and I explained that.  The supposed supervisor, Victor, flat out told me that they WOULD NOT reverse the charges (this was after I had spoken to Danielle, Jose, and Chris), placed me on hold and never returned to the phone.

Of course I am not only having my bank reverse the charges, but I am also canceling the account with Cricket altogether.  I already compromised with the whole initial charge, and chalked that up as a loss for the sake of a cheap phone for my kid, but TO HELL WITH THAT!  These jerks have raped me for nearly $100 bucks for 3 weeks of cell phone service.  I hope this company gets shut down and turned into a SEWAGE DUMP.

I WOULDN'T EVEN BUY A AAA BATTERY FROM CRICKET.  Bastards.

We had, at first, some difficulty with our internet hookup through them.  We had patience and some adult language and temper tamtrums and lo and behold, we now have a unit which works right.  Don't give up, locate a company owned store near you as the one which you got your unit at might be a privated owned deal as are most fast food deals.  You know the kind, I'm sure.  This is what along with alot of stubborn persistance but they made it right for us and probably will you to if you don' give up.
