Please publish this response. Recently I and my spouse have encountered similar circumstances involving Cross Country Bank, also operating under a fictitous name "Applied Card Services". The Parent Company, Cross Country Bank is based in Dover,Delaware . The Delaware State Banking Commission (phone: 302-739-4235, fax: 302-739-3609 (Timothy McTaggert) stated to me that they are licensed only in Delaware to operate a Credit Card Services. The Florida State Banking (Vicki Williams)Commission(phone: 561-837-5054) does not authorize them to operate in the state of Florida in the way they operate, which is much more than they are licensed to do. Collection Services might not be allowed as many other illegal services they are doing.Evidently not enough people have filed complaints with the State Comptrollers Office, the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trades Commission(phone: 1800-688-9889), the Palm Beach County Occupational Division, and the Consumers Affair Division phone:561-712-6600). President of Cross Country(Applied Card Systems) Rocko Abessinio(CEO) 800 Delaware Ave., Wilmington, Delaware, 19801, phone: 302-467-4600. In order to cease the phone calls to your work and home you must send in a letter (certified copy) stating for them to cease the phone calls. Here are some names and numbers direct to the CEO's office: Melissa: Applied Card Services, 4700 Blue Lake Drive, Boca Raton, Fl. 33431, phone: 561-995-8820(ext: 52058) Fax:561-998-9458. This company definitely has overstepped its boundries by leaps and bounds. They need to have the rug pulled out from under them immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The collectors and represenators are rude, crude, untrained, deceitful, obnoxious, ignorant and immature. And they do not review previous communications supposedly they have recorded or they would not need to continuously call about payment arrangement matters, they call only to harrass!!!!!!!!!!!Lets get them out of BUSINESS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
